Meet Our Dentists
Dr Mithun Shetty & Dr Priya Naik
Dental Surgeon
Mithun and Priya are experienced and dedicated dental surgeons with a vision to cater to the needs of the community and contribute to its success.
They have been trained in the best clinical skills – Mithun has a Masters in Periodontics from India and has successfully completed a course in Implantology in Sydney; Priya has a Masters in Endodontics from India. They are currently licensed as General Dental Surgeons (Australian Dental Board Certified) in Australia. The two have been excellent team leaders.
Mithun’s kindness and passion complimented by Priya’s cheerful and caring nature contribute to their excellent rapport with people of all ages. Loving parents to two young boys, Mithun spends his leisure playing golf, fishing while Priya loves travelling, cooking and spending time with family and friends. Mithun is an ardent soccer and cricket fan too.
Dr Kaushik Vanam
Dental Surgeon
Dr Kaushik Vanam is a general dentist, achieved his Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2005. He completed his Masters in Public Health and Health Promotion from Deakin University,Melbourne in 2010 and has been practising dentistry for more than a decade.
He worked at Robertson Dental Innovations for almost 9 years before joining our team at Golden square.
Dr Vanam is focussed on achieving the best outcomes for his patients by sharing his knowledge, communicating with the patients by thoroughly explaining and guiding them through the procedures.
Dr Vanam has a calm and caring nature that prioritises on the patient’s comfort and also provides quality dental care. Kaushik provides general dental services, cosmetic and restorative dentistry, crowns, root canal treatment procedures ,extractions. For anxious patients, he also provides services under nitrous oxide (happy gas) and also dental treatment under General Anaesthesia at SJOG hospital.
Dr Vanam has keen interest in treatment for snoring, sleep apnoea and TMD’s and related conditions. During his leisure, he loves travelling, cooking and spending time with family.
Emily Harwood
Oral Health Therapist
Emily completed her Bachelor of Oral Health Science form Latrobe University here in Bendigo in 2015. As an Oral Health Therapist, Emily aims to provide all patients with a positive experience during their visit. Emily has particular interest in supporting her patients through education to ensure that the care her patients receive extends past their appointment. Emily believes that dentistry is for everyone, and enjoys ensuring that dentistry is accessible to people of all needs. Emily has a calming nature in her practice and takes great pleasure in making her patients feel comfortable and confident in the chair.
Outside of work Emily enjoys socialising with friends and family and weekends away with her husband and golden retriever.
Emily is currently on maternity leave
Dr Brodie
Dr Brodie is an experienced dentist who has been practising for the past 8 years in Shepparton. Brodie completed his dental studies in Bendigo, and after 8 years away, it was time for him to return to be closer to family.
Brodie understands that many people are apprehensive about visiting the dentist, but his caring and compassionate nature and ability to create a relaxed atmosphere help to make each appointment as comfortable as possible.
Brodie enjoys most areas of dentistry, but particularly enjoys the restorative aspects. Brodie has an emphasis on quality, appropriate dental treatment and takes the time to understand each and every patient’s expectations. Brodie takes particular pride in building confidence in those who may have neglected their dental health previously, and working with them to provide a healthy, comfortable smile.
In his spare time Brodie enjoys spending time with his family, eating and trying new foods, and travelling when able. Brodie is also an avid follower of the Essendon Football Club and so has unfortunately been perennially disappointed.
